And the total process might take more than 15 days to complete. But you will be able to apply any type of visa if you are applying for the visa this way.

Indian e-visa process
Well, the Indian e-visa process is fairly simple and you don’t need to go anywhere. All you have to do is follow these steps to apply for the visa online.

- Then, you are required to fill out the correct details about yourself and proceed to the next step.
- In the next, you have to upload the required documents such as passport, photograph or letters from institution or hospital.
- Pay the online fee for the visa application process and then wait for ETA to arrive in your mailbox.
ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is the official document saying that you have been approved to
enter India with your passport.
You can apply for an Indian tourist visa using the e-visa process pretty easily. The official website is
also helpful in the Indian visa status check process. But there is a limitation to it, you cannot apply all
kinds of visas to India as would in the normal visa process. The e-visa process is restricted for only
